NOTE:Recently, there are 2 types of gears, which are shipped randomly, one with a diameter of 8mm, and a new one with a diameter of 8.4mm. Their E-STEP value settings are different. Please set the corresponding E-STEP value according to the gear diameter you received.

E-step: calculation method
Use 1/16 subdivision motor,
Stepper motor step angle = 1.8°,
The diameter of the gear is 8.4mm, the stepper
motor needs 16*200=3200 signals ofimpulse to turn 360°,
Filament moving length = gear circumference = 3,d = 3.14*8 = 26.376mm
How much e-step = filament displacement 1mm:
Calculation method: 3200/26.376 = 121 pulse signal.
E-step value is 121

Gear ratio is 1:3 - E-step value needs 3 times, that is 127.39*3=363 (theoretical value)

If you use 0.9° step angle - the electronic step value needs 2 times, that is 363*2=726 (theoretical value)

  • A Install the filament Press bearing using a Cross screwdriver

  • B Put in the middle part (see the picture), Insert the Spring and Screw in the fixing nut (M6)

  • C Install the Teflon bowden, Blue bowden clip is used to fix the Teflon tube(4mm) not move.

  • C Adjust the position of the stepper motor gear (as shown in the picture)
